YMCA Senior Center

Senior Center services and meals are partly funded by the Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging.

Eligibility for services is: age 60 and over or disabled. All services and activities, except meals, are free (Special fees at times for activities).

Information and Assistance (I&A) and Outreach Services: Medicare Part D, and Property Tax Freeze, and Senior Health Insurance Program (S.H.I.P.) for Medicare problems.

Make referrals to other agencies.

Nutritional Services

Dine-in and Home Delivered Meals at four sites – Macomb, Bushnell, Colchester, and Industry.

Nutritional Meals

Dine in Meals and Home Delivered meals are available at five meal sites on various days in McDonough County with home delivered meals targeting homebound clients.

Meal costs for dine in are a suggested donation of $4.00, with home delivery meals being a suggested donation of $5.00.

Meal sites are closed on certain holidays.

TO RESERVE OR CANCEL YOUR MEAL, CALL AT LEAST 1 DAY IN ADVANCE BY 1:00 TO THE MEAL SITE OF YOUR CHOICE OR CALL THE YMCA SENIOR CENTER AT 309-837-5733.

Bushnell: Bushnell Recreation Center, 300 Miller St., phone:309-772-2279 Monday thru Friday: Lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Colchester: Colchester Senior Center, 114 w. Depot St., phone: 309-776-4366 Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: Lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Industry: Industry Community Building, 59 Dowen St., phone: 309-255-7626 Tuesdays and Fridays: Lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Macomb: YMCA of McDonough County/Senior Center, 400 E. Calhoun St., phone 309-837-5733 Center open Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 5:00 pm: Lunch at 11:30
